Hi, I'm Shelly Steel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's degree from Trevecca Nazarene University.
With over 16 years in private practice and 23 years of prior experience in the corporate world, I understand the complexities of balancing personal and professional life.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and children, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
As a Gottman trained Level 3 Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor, I'm committed to providing effective and compassionate care.
Outside of my work, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with dogs. I’m also involved with Retrieving Independence, a nonprofit that trains service dogs—an experience that brings a lot of joy and meaning to my life.
